MALAK RESIDENCE
This project undertaken as an interior design project, again has been designed with an underlying minimalist theme. The living and dining areas are given a strong character- the former in exposed RCC and the latter in veneer. The dining table in wood and a teak wood cladded pillar compliment the two spaces creating a harmony between materials. An energetic shade of green with German pine wood, complimented by white walls -define the children’s room. Master bed room gets cozy with the use of veneers and a cushioned head board. Lobbies in granite- providing the much needed grandeur- accommodate an antique couch (diwan) placed precisely with the court yard as the back drop. Finally, use of pure forms and subtle materials give the overall ambience a harmonious touch.
