School is a place where a child seeks his/her mental and physical development along with studies. This congregation of little souls needs to have discipline with a watch. The building is designed keeping this thought and hence has been provided with different interactive and gathering spaces. The class rooms open out into a court yard which provides a cross ventilation, natural light and in itself acts as an activity and interactive space. On a broader level, the building is designed in two blocks – Primary and Secondary- The nodal point of these blocks is the administrative building which joins the two blocks. The foreground of the building is the playfields and a landscaped lawn. The entry and exit points need the utmost precision so as to segregate the pedestrian and vehicular traffic. The built form has been given a strong vocabulary which is accentuated by the linear glazed windows. The corners are further defined by the L- shaped structurally glazed windows.
